The Upside Down works of students at Bateau Bay BASC
A really great group of kids attended our last session at Bateau Bay BASC. We held two Amazing Upside Down Art Shows. The first with children in Kindergarten to grade 3, followed by older students in grades 3 to 6. Brilliant kids and an awesome team of staff.
Here is a little look at some of the artworks created on the day....

The Amazing Upside Down Artworks - Summer 2016
This Summer our Kindergarten to Grade 2 students met a very artistic and well travelled octopus who found her way to the top of the Eiffel Tower. For our Grade 3 to 6 students a tribal warrior has to do a double take as he is greeted by a very cheeky giraffe.
These works open The Amazing Upside Down Artist workshop. Created upside down our students are encouraged to guess what it could be before it if flipped upright and reviled.
What an awesome looking wall ! The Elephant and Skateboarder are 2 of the works created Upside down in front of the kids. After the Art Show our young artist launched into there team art pieces before creating there very own Upside Down Artworks. Although the children take their own work home there was still a number of great works created in our team challenge to bring a wall to life. Well done Emma, Tarni and the Gosford BASC team. It look's great!
Oh and I just realised, framed near the TV is the Surfer Painting also created Upside Down for the kids.
Creative Kids in the Northern Beaches
Had a wonderful time with the staff and students of Narraweena OOSH. A great space, a beautiful group of kids and a young vibrant staff force.
Here's a little look into our day...
Elephants in Space, broken skateboards & barrels.
Had a great deal of fun these holidays creating our latest bunch of Upside Down Artworks. For our Kindergarten to grade 2 kids an Elephant rocketed to space. Then for our grade 3 to 6 students a broken skateboard led to an amazing surfing session.
Each work drawn or painted upside down. Students had the challenge to guess what the work could be before it's flipped the right way.
